Oggetto: Thank you and photos
Dear Friends at Hotel Onda Verde,
Janet and I send our sincere appreciation for a wonderful stay at
your lovely hotel. We could not have chosen a better place to
celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The accommodations were
comfortable, and the setting so very relaxing and view breathtaking.
I can truly say that this was the first vacation destination that
made us completely forget about home; we wish we never had to leave.
Our stay was made even more memorable because of the amazing staff:
Miro and Sofia’s passion and warmth for the hotel and its guests
came through with every detail; Adriana was most accommodating and
helpful, her smile brighten our days; Gennaro, professional and
efficient, exuded a touching warmth behind his stoic expression; and
our two cooking instructors Francesco and Antonio blessed us with
their knowledge, skill, and humor during our morning of hands-on how
to cook Italian style.
Thank you so much for making our anniversary and stay in Praiano a
memory that we will cherish forever!
Warmest Regards,
David and Janet Tomczek

I spent 11 glorious days at the Hotel Onda Verde in Praiano, Italia. It
was my first time to Italy and I am pleased to have found such a
wonderful pearl inside this great Oyster. For those who are looking for
a great experience that is affordable, this is the place for you. Below,
I will give you the absolute reasons why you should stay at this place.
1. Friendly Atmosphere: The Milano Family who owns and operates Hotel
Onda Verde welcomes you as a part of their family. They treat with with
the utmost respect and give you the privacy you need, but also look out
for you to make sure you are enjoying yourself.
2. Helpful and Knowledgeable: You want to stay at a place that has a
choc' full of information on where to go, how to get there and what to
do? Again, since the family has been there forever, they know everything
there is to know. You want to count on this reliability.
3. Tasteful Rooms and Heavenly Balcony Views: I traveled alone and
stayed in a room fit perfectly for me. My balcony was where I could just
relax and view the Mediterranean Sea. The sea views take you away to
another place. You can just chill right out listening to the waves wash
gently and strongly against the rocks and the beach. The view of the
boats from my room was pleasant to look at. Fisherman would go out and
those with speed boats would ride by every day. The rooms are clean and
the cleaning service is great! The rooms and everything is fresh.
Adequate linens.
3. Restaurant: Chef Franco and his sous Chef Antonio are excellent
artists of cookery. They make every dinner evening taste magnificant.
They serve you more than enough food. YOU WILL NOT LEAVE THE TABLE
HUNGRY EVER! The food is totally authentic Italian cooking. The Desserts
are delicious and the fruits are freshly picked from their garden. Fruit
served on ice is a great way to enjoy for the summer.
4. Restauant View: Imagine having dinner on a cliff over looking the Sea.
You can not beat that. I ate dinner outside every night. I could not
resist it at all.
5. Other Benefits:
a. Meeting New Friends: While you may be solo or on a romantic getaway,
you will meet wonderful couples from around the world who share in your
experience and feeling about the Hotel Onda Verde. You are able to chat
late into the night about many things and for those who drink wine, you
will enjoy the best bottles of Vino on the Amalfi Coast under the stars.
I do not drink, so there are many other things to consume. Limoncello is
a favorite in this region, so for those who want to try something sweet
and sour, this is for you.
b. Cooking School: I am a great cook and wanted to learn more about
Authentic Italian cooking. Chef Franco taught me how to make 2 pasta
dishes and a dessert. All three items were served at dinner. This was a
great added benefit for me and it will be for those who DO NOT WANT TO
experience large groups for training.
c. You will learn some Italian: Even if you only speak one language, you
will learn a number of words while staying here. I happen to have a
certain level of Italian and French and I must say that my Italian
improved tremendously in the two weeks I was there.
d. Beautiful People Up and Down the Coast: This part of Italy has some
of the most beautiful people in the world. I mean from a physical
standpoint. Ladies be prepared to experience the melody and lyrics of
these men. They will definitely boost your ego and if your husband or
boyfriend is not paying attention to you while you are visiting. He will
after you smile from hearing sweet Italian words from a Georgous man.
Ladies, pay attention to your men too, the women are beautiful. Aside
from the physical aspect of the people, everyone says Good morning to
you in Italian and does their level best to try and help you get around.
A warm place, full of warm people.
All in all, I would come back to Hotel Onda Verde again and again and
again. It is my choice for a great hotel. You want to stay at a place
where people work hard to please YOU!
